The first day of the Meringa Cup - Trophy Alpe del Garda organized under the Patronage of the Lombardy Region for optimist class has come to an end.
The optimal wind conditions allowed the 140 international athletes to compete in all 3 scheduled races. The first places in today’s results are all Italian: Artur Brighenti in first position, Andrea Demurtas in second and Jesper Karlsen in third. The U16 category is more varied: the first place goes to the Ukrainian Sviatoslav Madonich, the second place to Irish Rocco Wright and the third place to the Thai Chanatip Tongglum.
